Empowering Your Unique Path
A Strengths-Based Approach
Psychotherapy for Adults and College Students
Life can be complicated, particularly when the way you experience the world doesn’t fit easily with the expectations around you. Many people come to therapy wondering why certain things have been so difficult, or hoping to understand themselves more clearly.
I’ve been in the field for over 25 years and hold a doctorate in clinical psychology. People come to me with a range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout, relationships, and life transitions. I also have extensive experience working with autistic and other neurodivergent adults, including those who are just beginning to consider whether this describes them.
I work from a person-centered approach grounded in genuineness, acceptance, and empathy. For me, that means showing up as a real person rather than behind a professional role, and meeting you as a person rather than a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. I bring my training and experience, but I don’t assume I know who you should become. You know things about your own life that no one else can.
When people have room to explore without being judged or directed, they often begin to see themselves differently, and perhaps come to appreciate who they are. Where that leads isn’t something I can predict in advance, and I think that openness is an important part of the work.
I provide psychotherapy to adults throughout New Mexico by telehealth. If you think this might be a good fit, please reach out to arrange an initial consultation.
